service was good; excellent breakfast; helpful staff; clean room and for the historic centre very well located
Clean, correct, spacy room
This is a lovely hotel in the most beautiful part of Naples. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and very quiet and relaxing, a haven in a busy bustling area full of culture, an area that you would definitely want to visit even if you didn't stay there. Unfortunately Naples, and perhaps particularly the Centro Storico is rife with robberies and you do need to be very vigilant in the streets. Especially don't wear any valuable jewellery of any sort, not even a thin gold chain, as mine was snatched from my neck by a young man passing me in a crowded street.
Lounges, bar and breakfast room have no windows
The staff is very friendly, helpful, and speak English. The rooms are bigger than your normal "European" rooms so that was definitley a plus. Everything is modern and the breakfast is better than your typical European breakfast. The location is perfect because you are close to shopping, restuarants, and the pier. You shouldn't need a rental car. You are also close to the airport so the taxi ride shouldn't be that expensive. I would definitley recommend this hotel.
The room was very comfortable and luxurious. The location was excellent, being around the corner from the old historical area- we could walk everywhere! The bar was a calm oasis to return to after the busy streets of Naples - the bartender very courteous and delighting us with local canapes to accompany our drinks.
The breakfast staff, although very polite, did not prepare tables so they remained uncleared from previous use and food was not replaced promptly for the buffet. We had to ask for things more than once and did not feel that they were keen to serve. The ambience at breakfast was consequently at odds with the general surroundings, seeming loud and chaotic. The communal areas were not clean and as we walked down the stairs from our fourth floor room, I had dust on my clothes from leaning over the bannister to admire the the view!
Internet was paying and did not work properly. The room was small. The bathroom even smaller. The TV did not work well - and someone had stolen control batteries but they had not been replaced (I was told the previous occupants were French). Not very professional staff. Breakfast not great. Noise from works going on.
an ideal hotel: clean, modern, realy big rooms, perfectly situated, friendly staff. the barman offered me home-made limoncello! one of the best remembrance in Naples. Thank you!
The hotel is in a very good location; the rooms are beautifully decorated and I enjoyed the breskfast very much.
Location was great near via Tribunali and in historic center. welcome drink & snacks offered are very nice. Breakfast very good. Very quiet inside & out. Modern furnising and decoration.
internet didn't work but maybe it was my personal settings.
The design, services & breakfast are excellent. The room is spacious and modern, with elegant design. The location is central but not noisy.
The WiFi is free in the whole hotel, but the WiFi signal did not work in our room. We used WiFi in the lobby. Parking is available but packed and thus a kind of a problem. But anyway if you are not local driving through Naples is very tough.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the old town, staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were spacious with modern styling.
The Albergo Palazzo Decumani was an tranquil oasis from all the frantic hustle of Naples. Compared with other Naples hotels I've stayed at, the hotel was much more clean, stylish, and safe. The staff was courteous and hospitable.
Decoration was Good Boutique design. Rooms a good size with great wardrobe space. Bar was small, intimate but expensive.
No food after breakfast inconvenient, especially when you first arrive. Also lack of good Trattorias in the area. Location good to see the old town, but expect dirty streets, dog mess everywhere. Lack of hot water, and poor shower let the room down.
The decor of the hotel and rooms are very clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The location is in the historic centre, which is lively but also quite a dirty and poor area of town. Don't allow the Tom Tom to navigate to the hotel as many of the surrounding streets of the hotel are extremely narrow and really only meant for padestrians.
Upon arrival we were given a voucher for a free drink in the bar, which we used later on in the evening, the barman ( a lovely guy) made us his home made bellini, it was delicious! He then went on to bring out olives, peanuts and little canapes all included, this was the last night of our honeymoon and we decided to stay in Naples for the closeness to the airport, the hotel is very close to the town centre, old town and the airport which is great, the staff atre very helpful and where are reception 24h to help with anything, we had a beautiful room with the comfiest bed in our whole tour of 2 weeks 5 hotels in Italy!
